On behalf of Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland, the Hungarian Ministry of National Development submitted to the European Commission a Letter of Intent for the establishment of a new Amber Rail Freight Corridor No. 11 with the aim to facilitate cross-border rail freight. The corridor links inter alia GYSEV’s intermodal terminal in Sopron with the Slovenian seaport of Koper and key terminals and industrial regions in Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland.
After the first GYSEV CARGO Vectron “Werbelok” in December 2015, the second advertising locomotive came out on 5th January 2016. The graphics of this vehicle is identical with that of its predecessor: dynamic forms in green, yellow and blue advertise the rail company offering rail transport and additional logistics services in Austria and Hungary. The loco fleet of GYSEV CARGO will gain a new Vectron in February 2016 - this locomotive will also be leased from ELL Austria GmbH. It shall get the same graphic design from the Co. Loc & More as the previous two locos.
