János Skala, CEO of GYSEV CARGO Zrt., has temporarily withdrawn from the operational management of the company for personal reasons, while maintaining his membership in the Board of Directors. Management of the company will be taken over till 31st December 2016 by János Boda Acting Chief Executive Officer, hitherto Deputy CEO for Sales and Operations of GYSEV CARGO Zrt. Concurrently, Mr. Boda has become the fourth member of the Board of Directors; therefore, the continuous operation of the company is fully ensured.
On behalf of Hungary, Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland, the Hungarian Ministry of National Development submitted to the European Commission a Letter of Intent for the establishment of a new Amber Rail Freight Corridor No. 11 with the aim to facilitate cross-border rail freight. The corridor links inter alia GYSEV’s intermodal terminal in Sopron with the Slovenian seaport of Koper and key terminals and industrial regions in Slovenia, Slovakia and Poland.
